Vintage Swiss Safety Belt Leather - fits 32-37 inch waist - with Carabiner
I bought this about 30 years ago from a military surplus store in like new condition, and its been sitting in the bag all these years. There is some slight corrosion around the metal parts, and the leather has some surface degradation...especially on the end without the buckles.
Thats also the end where the names and numbers are...and they are hard to read. At the top is an oval with some words inside; under that is a number unreadable; under that is a square with the Swiss cross and "RK"; under that looks like "140".
Its 4.5 inches wide.
I measured from the smallest to largest setting and it should fit a 32-37 inch waist. I guess thats what I was 30 years ago....
The large carabiner is the one that came with it...but I can't guarantee any of the safety aspects or loads that it is designed to support. However it does seem very sturdy. The leather straps feel supple and flexible. I just gave it a light cleaning and put on some silicone leather guard.
