    Antique American Riflemans Burl Handled Patch or bag Knife 19th.century. This unique  blacksmith made Riflemans knife was probably made around 1830.It has a forged 4 5/8" blade
    Probably made from a file and a American ash burl handle.The tang of the blade extends through the end of the handle as seen in the photos.The anterior of handle is decorated with pewter as pictured.This is a rare early American patch or bag knife. Knives of this quality rarely appear on the market. The knife is offered in as found original condition with no repairs or restorations. Length  9": blade length 4 5/8"
