    The t-bar has a bushing in the pivot hole. It takes a metal sleeve before the bolt is installed. If your motorcycle is 1964-earlier you will use a sleeve that accepts a 5/16" bolt. If you have a motorcycle that is 1965 and newer it will use a sleeve that accepts a 3/8" bolt.
